Fathoum Issadeen, a student of Grade 10, was placed 1st runner up the Asian Juniors Tennis Under 14 Doubles which was held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, organized by the ITF (International Tennis Federation). The event commenced on the 6th of January 2012. It included the participation of 13 countries from which Sri Lanka placed Second. Fathoum Issadeen along with her teamate clinched second place in the Women's Double against Vietnam.

Fathoum was the All Island Champion of the Under 14 Single and Doubles Tennis Tournaments organized by the Otters Aquatic Club Colombo which was held on the 31st March 2012.

We are very proud of Fathoum and her efforts taken to improve her prowess in tennis. Our fullest support and well wishes go to Fathoum for her future endeavors and we hope to see her achieving more and more, thereby keeping our school flag flying high.
