120th School Day Celebration

Today, 20^th February 2023, it is with great pride that we celebrated the 120^th Anniversary of Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya, originally celebrated on 3^rd February. We gathered together as one, not only to celebrate the long years of our school’s existence but also to remember and pay tribute to the resilience amidst the many trials and tribulations our school had to face. Together with Rev Fr. Daya Shelton Welikadaarachchi, we praised and glorified the Lord through words and song, venerating the holy Eucharist in memory of the many long years of friendships, unity, growth and the sparking of the candle of Familian spirit in many a girl in white, pleated uniforms with blue ribbons, ties and a well-meaning glint in the eye.
