Felicitating HFC’s Hardworking A/L Students of 2021
An assembly was held on the 28 th of April to felicitate our hardworking and resilient A/L students of 2021. Sr Charitha Thandalge, our principal, Sr Celina, the primary principal, Ms Chamila Perera our vice-principal were in attendance, along
with the vice presidents of the PTA, the student body of the school and the 31 post A/L students being felicitated. The purpose and importance of the day was conveyed to us by our principal, Sr. Charitha, in her opening speech, as she applauded the batch of students that faced the adversity of not only the lockdowns caused by Covid-19, but also the economic crisis and the power failures that riddled their exam period, and yet, persevered and in the end excelled. The students were honored and given medals and tokens by the principal before a heartfelt speech was given by Dahami Fernando , the representative of the 2021 A/L batch for 2021. The session was ended with the felicitated students being escorted to have refreshments soon after an official group photo.
