National Public Speaking Competition
All island 1st place in national public speaking competition In the national public speaking competition organized by the English speaking union in Sri Lanka, Shiandra Goonaratne was placed 1st. She will be flying to London for the international competition in May, whare she will compete with 52 commonwealth country representatives. Congratulations Shiandra!
FIBA Asia Under 18 Basketball Championship
FIBA ASIA UNDER 18 BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR WOMEN Manthila Gallassage and Dilumi Goonawardena represented the Under 18 Sri Lanka National Team for the above tournament. Manthila Gallassage was appointed as Vice captain of the team. Congratulations Manthila and Dilumi!
All Island Interechool Squash Championship 2016
SameeraDeen was awarded Championship in under 15 age category. In the Team event Holy family Convent, Bambalapitiya emerged 2nd Runners Up. The team comprised of : Fathoum Isaadeen Mithuni Jayawardene Mishelle Dondeenu Sameera Deen Shiandra Wijesekara Sheneli Lokuge In the overall Tournament Holy Family Convent,Bambalapitiya emerged 2nd Runners Up.

Our sportswomen have excelled in aquatic sports too.Nathali Ruwanpathirana represented Sri Lanka ath the South Asian Aquatic Championship and was the proud winner of the Bronze medal in the 200m butterfly event. Congratulations Nathali!
