“Familian Colours of Expression 2022”
The Art exhibition, “Familian Colours of Expression 2022” was held by the Grades 3, 4 & 5 students of Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya on the 11th and 12th of October at the school premises.
The exhibition focused on bringing out the creativity of each student where each child was given an opportunity to display her artistic talents in different genres.
The day’s proceedings began by welcoming the chief guest Rev. Sr. Chandani Jayasuriya who encouraged the young artists by quoting the famous words of Vincent Van Gogh.
“If you hear a voice within you say you cannot paint, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.”
Representatives from the zonal department, past principals, past teachers, principals and teachers of many leading schools in Colombo and parents were also among the invitees who were mesmerized by the talents of our little Familians.
The event concluded on the 12th of October with everyone appreciating the hard work of the teachers and students who organized such a beautiful event.
