Sir John Tarbat Junior Championship
In the Sir John Tarbat Atheletic Championship 2016, held in Embilipitiya, our familians have emerged winners in many events displaying maturity, discipline,talent and skill.They have carved a neesh for themselves in the fiels of sports by their execellent performance.
It is praiseworthy that the 17 familians who completed in this event among 8000 competitiors from all over the Island suceeded in achieving many positions.
Their achievements are as followers:
- Under 12 – Dinethri Karunarathne was awarded a merit in 80m
- Under 13 – Seleena Elizabeth was awarded merits in 100m,200m and Long Jump
- Under 15 – Abimani Bernadeth was awarded a merit in Discus throw
Under 13 relay team was awarded a merit in the 4*100 event.
