Convent – Bambalapitiya class of 2007, who has dedicated her life to service and leadership
within the Sisters of the Holy Family of Bordeaux.
Sr. Ann Mariyan’s journey began at [School Name], where she excelled academically, graduating
in 2004 and 2007. Her strong foundation prepared her for a fulfilling path, and in 2012, she took
her first vows as a Sister.
Sr. Ann Mariyan’s commitment to serving others is evident in her diverse ministries. She has
served in parish work, pastoral care, social work, and nursing, demonstrating her compassion and
willingness to help those in need. Her leadership skills were recognized when she was appointed
Assistant to the Provincial Bursar.
Furthermore, Sr. Ann Mariyan has actively pursued professional development to enhance her
service. She holds a B.Sc. Management (Public) degree from the University of Sri
Jayewardenepura and has completed various courses in counseling, data analysis, financial
management, and Laudato Si’ environmental ethics.
Currently, Sr. Ann Mariyan serves as Assistant to the General Bursar at the Generalate in Rome,
Italy. This prestigious role highlights her dedication, leadership abilities, and the trust placed in
her by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Bordeaux.
