Rev. Sr. Jeewani Martinus, a past pupil of Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya, has dedicated
her life to serving others through the Congregation of the Good Shepherd Sisters. Born on
October 9, 1967, Sr. Jeewani entered the Postulancy in 1987 and made her Final Profession in
1995.

Her educational journey includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sri
Jayewardenepura and postgraduate diplomas in Education and Educational Management from
the National Institute of Education.

Sr. Jeewani has served as an educator in various capacities, including Boarding Mistress,
Nursery Principal, and Teacher at renowned schools such as St. Bridget’s Convent, Colombo 07,
and St. Agnes’ Convent, Matale. She has also held the esteemed position of Principal at several
Good Shepherd convents, including Panadura and Wellawatte. Currently, she serves as Superior
and Community Coordinator at the Good Shepherd Convent, Kandy.
Sr. Jeewani’s dedication to education and her commitment to serving others exemplify the
values instilled in her during her time at Holy Family Convent.
