Holy Family Convent, Bambalapitiya is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Binuthi Jayasingha, Vanessa Fernando and Anuki Abeypala, who earned the honour of representing Sri Lanka at the FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup – SABA Qualifiers 2025, held from 25th to 29th May at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium. Their selection to the national team reflects their exceptional talent, dedication, and commitment to the sport of basketball.

Competing against strong regional opponents, Team Sri Lanka demonstrated remarkable skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the tournament. Vanessa, Binuthi, and Anuki proudly represented both their country and HFC, showcasing the spirit of excellence and sportsmanship that defines our school community.

We are delighted to announce that Team Sri Lanka emerged as Runners-Up of the FIBA U18 Asia Cup 2026, bringing honour to the nation and making the entire Familian family immensely proud.
